The true Baptist
what the Gospel reads and follows the Gospel alone. Like Jesus teaches,
they believe it: Faith, Repentance and Baptism to salvation, what is a
better life and earth and life everlasting in heaven.
But as Pseudo-Christianity spread and naturally exceeded true
Christianity by far, those who believe and truly practice the doctrine
of the Gospel got cornered. And thus the Christians called
'Baptist' came into being. Of course every Christian is a
Baptist, but the corrupted, money-focused Churches gained more members
through teaching a lie. The Catholics changed the baptism ritual
to pouring of a cup of water over the head. This is not baptism,
and when some people who were raised in Catholicism realized this, they
separated from their churches and subjected to a proper 'Baptism': thus
the term 'Anabaptist' came into existence; meaning one who subjects to
a proper baptism, for there is but one baptism.
So, true Baptist believe
in the inerrancy of Scripture, hold to the Fundamentals of the Christian
Faith: without which there is no Christian Faith, but only 'Faith O' Man'.
But, as is natural, for Jesus said: "many are called but few are
chosen", once the true Baptist sprung, ten thousand fake baptist sprung
alongside them! So to find a true baptist church today is also a
challenge. In Christianity, wherever the truth stands deceit will
root alongside it.
Today Baptist churches have many fellowships (independent church
with them). Mega fake Baptist groups like 'Southern Baptist' in
the USA exist, causing much ill as Pseudo-Baptist. Remember: these are
not followers of Jesus. Any Baptist who clearly transgresses
against the Gospel is a 'Pseudo-Baptist'.
And again, the fake ones among the Baptist churches, will only
baptize people into their church.
You often read 'baptize
membership'. I interpret this as church membership and not
membership of the church of Christ. I believe that they
have a questionnaire
for non-members who like to be baptized into the Church of Christ = 'Christian Church', to so confirm
that this person is a true believer in Christ and is earnestly ready to
surrender to Christ, with this final step in the process of reading,
repenting, and then baptizing to holiness.
Gates Of Hell Shall Not Prevail Against It
the ages Catholics
and other Nicolaitans tried to defy the above quotation by Jesus,
and murdering many, deceiving and misleading many more, but they have
and shall not prevail against 'His Church'.
